搖滾海是「Taipei Blues」專輯唯一創作靈感不是來至於「台北」的一首歌。；話說Santa Klaus的故鄉德國是屬於歐洲大陸較為中心的位置，所以完全沒有機會看到「大海」，在移民台灣後，有一次機會中到花蓮去遊玩，在東岸邊深深被浩瀚的大海、滾滾的浪潮所感動，所以寫下了這首歌。

Down beyond the sea there are waves left to be broken
No one knows how long they're gonna last
It's a mystery, they contain a silent token
Some forbidden remnant of the past
Trading all your hights for some temporary lows
Praying to the skies in some visionary pose
Sheltered by the sky there lies the rocking sea
Will it pass me by or fade away with me?

Way beyond a doubt there are unknown hidden meanings
Written in the sands beyond the dunes
Covered by a shroud of low clouds of various colors
Lies the land of unfamiliar tunes
Something makes me want to be there out on the coast
Something so serene, like the vision of a ghost
Sheltered by the sky there lies the rocking sea
Will it pass me by or fade away with me?
Although I'm trying to be free
There is a ghost that stays with me
It's just a vision of my doom
It' s always there inside my room
