Someone commented “AI music” on this song, and it made me want to share this:

Yes, AI can make music.
But it doesn’t know what it means to fake being okay, comfort someone carrying the same wounds, or praise the Lord from a broken place.

That is love. That is life. That is the human heart.

The tool may be artificial.
The wound is not.

For context: the original comment I replied to is no longer visible, so the whole thread under it disappeared as well. I am keeping this record because the discussion matters to me.

The question was whether AI-assisted music can still carry human intention, memory, pain, and care.

My answer remains the same: this song was not made to defeat anyone, replace anyone, or make trained performers look smaller. It was made for the version of myself who was trying to survive depression years ago.

I wrote the words from my own scars. I shaped the concept, the emotional direction, and the meaning behind it. AI was the tool I had available at this moment.

I respect serious concerns about AI-assisted music. But I do not accept reducing someone’s personal work, wounds, and intention to “fake,” “theft,” or “exploitation” without even trying to understand where the piece came from.

That is the part I wanted to preserve.
