Freedom's Light

《Freedom's Light》這首歌，是我對「自由」這一概念的一次暗黑馬戲團式解構。通常我們認為自由是溫暖、舒適的，但在這首歌裡，我試圖捕捉那種從長久的壓抑（無論是精神病院、監獄還是內心的牢籠）中突然被釋放時，那種近乎眩暈、甚至帶有痛感的快樂。這不是普通的走出家門，這是「從骨頭做的籠子裡長出來」。

為了配合 Experimental Creepy Ballad (實驗驚悚敘事曲) 的風格，我刻意替換了所有溫和的詞彙。牆壁不再是「低語 (whispered)」，而是像蛇一樣「發出嘶嘶聲 (hissed)」；心跳不再是普通的「節奏 (rhythm)」，而是血液流動的「抑揚頓挫 (cadence)」；過去的記憶不再是「回音 (echoes)」，而是死纏爛打的「幽靈 (specters)」。這種詞彙的選擇，賦予了歌曲一種病態的優雅。

最終，這首歌呈現的是一種「表演性」的自由。主角「昂首闊步 (strut)」走出鐵門，彷彿走上了一個新的舞台。那句「自由是如此怪異 (Freedom's strange)」，是對習慣了黑暗的人初見光明時最真實的反應。謹以此歌，獻給所有從黑暗中掙脫，帶著一身傷痕卻依然優雅起舞的靈魂。這光芒或許刺眼，但它是屬於你的聚光燈。
