That was a dark, long night. I remember that I felt like I was in a small room, which smells wet and gloomy, and I couldn’t see anything, only could hear a man whispering in my ear saying ‘hold it, the darkest moment soon will be over.’ I did’t know who he is, and why he did that. I don’t even know why I was here. But about what he said to me, that was the only thing that sustains me at that time, in the gloomy, disgusting-smelled air.

My hands and legs were tied with the chair, and my heart and soul were trapped here, like an gothic puppet tied in a dark room, which is empty inside. While I started to give up, I heard the man said, ‘Girl, life isn’t that hard.’ he lifted my chin, I was like what you want to do to me, and then smoothly he touched my lips with his finger, ‘I’m here to give you water.’ he kissed me and passed the water to me through our lips.

And then I just knew, I just realized that I am in the city of criminals, twisted love, and justice──Stockholm, 1973.
