介紹

狩獵是鄒族世代相傳的傳統文化,在鄒族傳統文化中,狩獵有相當多的禁忌與規範。歌詞中提到許多地名,每個獵人都必須非常清楚自家及各家家族的獵場,誤入其他氏族獵場狩獵是非常嚴重的事情。歌詞中還提到鄒族的占卜鳥:繡眼畫眉,在打獵之前,獵人必須聽繡眼畫眉的叫聲,若聽到不祥的徵兆,當日便取消狩獵的行動。歌詞的最後一段,是獵人行獵時,經過以前古部落的舊址,獵人遙想古時候部落的面貌與生活情景,彷彿聽見祖先們在呼喚著他。
