He was only 13 birthday in a few days
Lil young ass kid with no body to play with
A small small mouse trapped in a big big house
Mommy always busy working while he’s all alone
He wants to call for help but there’s no one to phone
Daddy an alcoholic who’s never really home deep down he moans
Under the dim light facing this plain sight
Sitting at the empty table that was set up for three
A happy dinner with mommy daddy and me he sees
And reminisces about the playground swings where little birdies sing
How distant it seems
Now everything’s changed cuz things don’t look the same
Pain is all that’s left and it’s flowing through his veins
He looks into the mirror but forgot his own name
Now someone tell me whether if he should blame
God for not telling him that life is just a game
Just a lost soul drowning in despair
Suffocating cuz his daddy didn’t care

However he was too blinded and could not see

Her name is Charlene pregnant at 19
With her little baby’s daddy no where to be seen
It doesn’t seem like that long ago
When she lost a man in life whom she calls bro
Who used to be her best friend slash father figure
Now he’s no more than just a face in family pictures
Her only role model now dead and gone
So she’s steady popping bottles till the break of dawn
Addicted to crack pipes and smoking rocks
Sleeps around with men who treat her body like used mops
Confused Wondering where she could find love
Abused Cursing why is life so tough
I stood and watched as her life went astray
This story really shouldn’t end in such a tragic way

To all the boys and girls out there trapped in this bubble
Trying to grow up despite of all the troubles
