Alone In City（一人城市）

「城市」这个词对于我的意义有些模糊：过去几年里，我在 5 个不同的城市生活过，说不上来自己属于哪里。
这首歌诞生在南方的海边，一次孤独的深夜漫游。
从街边茂密的热带植物丛走向街道上，路过准备打烊的书店，再钻进一个正在狂欢的演出现场。
看着结束一天欢愉后心满意足的大家，我却突然发现自己就快要被孤独击垮了。
在那样的心境下，回想起那些紧紧抱住枕头的失眠夜，独自饮下的每一杯 Dry Martini，看完深夜场电影回家路上轻飘飘的自己，一个人躺在手术台被麻醉剂带走知觉的一瞬间......
我开始好奇：他们都不曾害怕这样的感觉吗？
