Painkiller

You’re gone without a clue
You’re here out of the blue
You ruined everything
By saying “I miss you” “I love you” “I don’t wanna lose you”
You make me fall for you, again
I’m sure that’s not on ya
Your symptoms are back, aren’t they?
And so here you are, take your pill, then be gone
Like nothin’s wrong

I love you, and you know that
So you use me as your painkiller
I’m your painkiller

We kissed like our first time
We talked like there’s no time
Just like we used to have
Like an apocalypse, nobody’s here, the world only spins for us
Just when I thought this is real, again
You’re colder than frozen steel
Right, your symptoms are crawlin’ back
Yeah, so here I am to save the day, and I hope you get well soon

I love you, and you know that
So you use me as your painkiller
I’m your painkiller
You want me, but you won’t stay
‘Cause you show up just for your painkiller
I’m the painkiller

Hold me close till you’re alright, that’s right
Then leave me fadin’ in the night
Bleedin’ till I die (What about me? Who’s gonna fix me?)
Till I die (What about me? Who’s gonna fix me?)
Till I die (What about me? Who’s gonna fix me?)
Till I die (What about me? Who’s gonna fix me?)

What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
What about me?
Who’s gonna fix me?
