Recorded most of the song a couple of months ago at Rocks 岩石音樂 with help from old Bento band mates and friends . It was great to see the gang again and record at the fantastic and familiar underground maze that is Rocks just before they moved . It was a pretty fun and loose time , John Duxbury layed down the steady beat before Bo Yas tuned his low E to a C and blitzed his way through the song . Even requesting a jazz shuffle during his breakdown solo. 奢樓府 then suddenly waltzed in the studio and played two takes without even listening
to the song then waltzed back out , a very curious and talented man . 黃敬堯 （Jimmy) ( no not the Yunlin one, nor the ‘experienced’ one) but ZeYao was on hand to lay down some percussions that really drive the song. After I finished recording some guitar parts and the vocals , 劉子毓arrived late into the night to add his layers of sonic guitar- good times , lucky we remembered to save the files we recorded!

The song touches upon some heavy themes . Some talk about my personal experiences suppressed deep in my mind that suddenly appear in moments of rare clarity . Other lyrics talk about the suppression of society on our thoughts and the decisions we make perpetuating harm and abuse on the most vulnerable. I hope this song makes me face up to my past experiences to own them and use them for something positive.
