十四行詩

以西洋十四行詩的結構為骨架，
將一段未竟的情感與壓抑的思緒，
整理成十四行冷靜而細碎的獨白。
​音樂從孤獨的單音鋼琴與低沉大提琴展開，
隨着旋律層層推升，
管弦樂與高亢的聲線在克制中爆發，
最終又歸於平靜。

這是給姐姐的一份驚喜。

The shadows stretch across the empty tile floor,
（陰影在空曠的磚地上不斷延伸，）
I count the quiet seconds left behind the closed bedroom door.
（我在緊閉的房門後，默默倒數著寂靜的餘秒。）
A tiny spark of light is slipping out the back seam,
（一縷微弱的光芒正從門縫間悄悄溜走，）
I try to hold the pieces of an unfinished dream.
（我試著抓緊那未竟之夢的碎片。）
Your jacket lingers on the wooden chair by the hallway wall,
（走廊牆邊的木椅上，還留著你的外套，）
I listen close but never really expect your call.
（我屏息傾聽，卻從不敢奢望你的來電。）

A rusted clock keeps tapping on the counter shelf,
（生鏽的時鐘在櫃架上滴答作響，）
I stop explaining all these missing thoughts to myself.
（我不再試圖向自己解釋這些遺失的思緒。）
The dark is heavy but I watch the city line glow,
（夜色沉重，而我凝視著城市天際線的微光，）
There is a bitter rhythm in the things we used to know.
（在我們曾經熟悉的一切裡，流淌著苦澀的節奏。）
I trace the faint outline left by your silver ring,
（我摹描著你那枚銀戒留下的淡薄痕跡，）
And brace my chest for every quiet sting.
（微顫著胸口，承受每一次隱隱作痛的刺麻。）

I turn my head away from all the rising street light.

A single petal drops onto the dusty hardwood floor,
（一朵花瓣掉落落在沾滿灰塵的硬木地板上，）
And silence drifts through every open door.
（寂靜穿過每一扇敞開的門戶蔓延開來。）

We leave the golden crown inside this ghost town.
（我們將那頂金冠遺棄在這座鬼城之中。）
Pull back the heavy curtains let the wild wind blow,

And let the whole foundation go.
