The Rabbit's Revenge

〔The Rabbit’s Revenge〕是我對「愛麗絲夢遊仙境」的反向假想：引領愛麗絲到Wonderland的兔子才是主體。

打從一開始，兔子就已經受夠了統治者的暴政，決定革命反抗，因此引來的愛麗絲這個助力，藉由她的巨大化，推翻當權者。所以對愛麗絲來說，也許一切都是機緣巧合，但對Wonderland的居民兔子來說，愛麗絲的到來是期待許久、是革命必要的武器。

副歌『rip it out the heart』而不是『rip out the heart』是有意思的：革命要的不是殺戮，而是把無良的部份剔除。這個ｉｔ就是會做出『bloody tyrant』、『collecting dead body』這些事情背後的心態。

有趣的是，即使在這過程裡執行流血革命的是無知的愛麗絲，身為始作俑者的兔子還是會有罪惡感：『I might be guilty in front of god』，所以一開始也說了：『You(Alice) could be his mind’s salvation』。

對我來說，兔子的「復仇」是有正義的成份在裡頭的。不是為了報復、不是為了殺戮、在事發當下還是會感到罪惡代表他還沒有喪失良知，只是已經無法對暴政忍氣吞聲了，所以走上了革命這條路。

如同歌曲裡說，統治者也不過是五十二張牌裡的幾張而已，所以洗（牌）、切（牌）重來吧！現實生活裡（至少在民主國家），政府也不過是所有人民裡的幾個人組成的而已。

因為歌詞的意象是如此，所以編曲上我用很多的打擊，即使是管弦也較節奏分明，希望可以營造一點戰場的意象。不過因為以「愛麗絲夢遊仙境」的故事為基底，所以整體聽起來還不算沈重？
