After they released their first track, “Tum Mai Rao Young Mai Warp” [translation: Why Aren’t We Warped Yet?] in 2016, The Octopuss* have become known as the most funny, energetic, and crazy 4-man funk rock band in Thailand’s indie scene. The fans even invented a new genre for them, the “Movie Funk Rock”, as all the songs they wrote are inspired by some movies and they are all funk rock. Their songs are all in Thai, but they put some magic in the lyrics so anyone can sing along even if you are seeing them for the first time. And you can’t help but dancing to the funky rhythm of their crazy show.
