這首歌寫的是克非還沒有長大以前。

麥田、小河、土角厝、波斯菊、腳踏車、風箏，還有小黑。
那時候世界還很小，小到一條沒有名字的河，就可以裝下一整個下午。

很晚才知道，有些離開是從很小的時候開始的。
風箏落進麥田裡，沒有人跑過來接住。

歌唱回那個河邊，陪伴一個安靜的小孩。
小黑追著騎腳踏車、放風箏的小非。
風一直吹。
風箏線割斷了幾株麥子，麥子沒有說話。

小非從來都懂。
只是後來才知道，那個感受，大人用兩個字就可以說完。
