原本《The Alley Sky》，是女兒搬進大學宿舍那晚的歌。室友都回家了，她也想回家。知道巴士站在哪裡，也知道自己不能真的走，所以拿起吉他，唱。

她拿爸爸唸書時的往事，唱自己和高中死黨的分離。不想長大，想抱媽媽。

那首歌裡，有三十年前的爸爸。

她唱得我屏息。好，那我也來唱一版。只是 key 當然不對。人到了一個年紀，很多東西都會降下來。Bass-baritone 大叔，不可能唱出女孩的輕盈。

整晚試唱，天亮前唱出了父親版。
同一條巷子，三十年後，爸爸從另一個方向走回來。
