A Promised Land

I wanted to make an odyssey. I started writing this song from the back (as a promise land) Making the ending first and it took a lot of time to get the beginning right. I felt that to reach a promise land is very much like that. I don’t know how easy or possible it is to reach the promise land at a young age. Especially when it comes to first love. We all have the weather a lot. Get dragged around in the mud. Shed some blood, sweat and tears until we know it’s the journey of ups and downs. Like every movie the protagonist goes through the arcs. If there wasn’t an arc there won’t be much of a story to tell. We won’t ever know if things we hold dear will last but it helps to learn to be on our own, carrying hope, even sometimes if we delude ourselves because it’s the path we choose.
