《Asylum of the Mind》這首歌，是整張專輯中最核心、也最令人窒息的篇章。我試圖用音樂構建一座沒有圍牆、卻也無法逃脫的監獄——那就是我們自己的大腦。結合了 Dark Synthwave 的冰冷律動與 Psychedelic Rock 的迷幻色彩，這首歌模擬了一種理智逐漸斷線的過程。

歌詞中的「軟墊牆 (padded walls)」與「鏡子 (mirrors)」不僅僅是恐怖元素的堆砌，它們象徵著一種極致的自我囚禁與自我分裂。當主角唱出「In madness, I am never alone (在瘋狂之中，我從不孤單)」時，這是一句最諷刺的悲劇——因為那些陪伴他的「聲音」，正是將他推向深淵的幻覺。這是一種熱鬧的孤獨，一種擁擠的虛無。

最終，歌曲在一個「無盡循環 (endless loop)」中結束。這不僅是旋律上的迴圈，更是對精神疾病患者內心世界的隱喻：時間失去了意義，過去與未來在迷宮中重疊。謹以此歌，獻給所有曾感覺被困在自己思緒迷宮中的靈魂。在這裡，最大的恐懼不是黑暗本身，而是你永遠無法醒來的夢。
