這是倒數專輯的第三夜——《Free》，一首寫給所有渴望內心平靜的靈魂的歌。12月29日，在經歷了節日的喧囂、深刻的自省之後，這一天，應該留給最純粹的「釋放」。這首歌，就是試圖去捕捉那份最終“放下”之後的、寧靜的自由感。

這首歌的靈魂，藏在它的日語歌詞裡——「心，漸漸地鬆開了 / 靜謐，終於回來了」。這是一種由內而外的釋放。而英文歌詞中的Chorus，更是對“Free”這個概念的重新定義：「我自由了 / 不是從枷鎖中，而是從緊繃中 / 我自由了 / 在於我能看見平凡之中的美麗」。這不是一場轟轟烈烈的革命，而是一次悄然無聲的和解。

為了與專輯中的其他歌曲徹底區分，我刻意避免了所有慣用的意象。從窗外那片“被塗成白色的世界”，到內心那份“平靜而溫柔的嗡鳴”，再到將舊情愫比作一個“孤獨的音符”，我希望用這些全新的、充滿原創性的詞語，去構建一個空靈而純淨的空間。Bridge裡的那句「自由的開端如此溫柔 / 在你終於放棄的那一刻」，是我對這首歌的最終註解。謹以此歌，獻給所有曾被過往的重擔、無謂的爭鬥所束縛的靈魂。願我們都能學會，真正的自由，不是去往何方，而是在內心，為自己創造一方寧靜的留白。
