This is Why

JH 於 2026 年 2 月推出首張個人創作 EP《This is why》，一張如同「宇宙迷航三部曲」的作品，記錄一段墜落谷底後，逐步找回自己、自我修復與療癒的過程。

這張 EP 取材自 JH 自身與身邊關係的真實經驗，從失序、迷失，到願意重新擁抱世界；即使身處無邊的黑暗，也仍嘗試抓住當下，相信盡頭會找到微光。

《This is Why》不試圖給出標準答案，而是誠實的回應脆弱：為什麼在世界看似冷漠的時刻，仍願意保有溫柔？為什麼在迷航與不確定之中，仍想把握此刻、選擇不放手？這些「Why」，不是辯解，而是一次次在崩潰邊緣，仍選擇與世界連結的理由。

整張 EP 由 JH 獨立擔任詞曲創作與音樂製作，以華語流行為基底，融合空間感十足的合成器、鋼琴與木吉他的聲響層次，構築出一個介於深空與日常之間的內在宇宙。三首歌彼此呼應，如同三個精神座標，描繪人在迷航之中，那份以愛為名的溫柔抵抗。

JH release his debut self-written EP this is why in February 2026, a project that unfolds like a “cosmic drifting trilogy,” documenting the slow return from rock bottom, and the process of reclaiming the self through repair and healing.
Drawn from JH’s real-life experiences and relationships, the EP traces a movement from disarray and disorientation toward a renewed willingness to embrace the world again. Even when surrounded by boundless darkness, it reaches for the present moment, holding onto the belief that there is a glimmer of light waiting at the end.
This is Why does not attempt to offer definitive answers. Instead, it responds to vulnerability with honesty: Why choose gentleness when the world feels indifferent? Why keep holding on, even while drifting through uncertainty? These “whys” are not excuses, but reasons, repeated again and again at the brink of collapse, to stay connected to the world.
Written, composed, and produced independently by JH, the EP is rooted in Mandopop while weaving together spacious synth textures, piano, and acoustic guitar. The result is an inner universe suspended between deep space and everyday life. Across three interlinked tracks, the EP forms a set of emotional coordinates, portraying a tender kind of resistance in the midst of drifting, one that continues to move forward in the name of love.
