In the land of truth and light,
I dared to speak, to fight the blight.
But now I roam, a fugitive's plight,
For daring to expose the lies, to set things right.
In distant lands, I raise my voice,
For Taiwan's honor, I made my choice.
But truth's a thorn, in the side of power,
For seeking justice.
Oh, Taiwan, my homeland dear,
I shed a tear, for what is clear.
That those who speak, against the tide,
Are cast aside, in shadows to hide.
But though I'm far, my spirit's strong,
Injustice fought, though the road is long.
For truth must shine, in the darkest night,
Even if it means, I'm out of sight.
So hear my plea, from lands afar,
For Taiwan's sake, let truth be our star.
No more deceit, no more disguise,
Let honesty reign.
Oh, Taiwan, my heart's desire,
I'll return to you, set the world on fire.
For justice calls, and truth must prevail,
In the land where honesty shall never fail.
