《Afterimage》是一首關於成長、告別與回憶的歌曲。

Afterimage（殘像）指的是光線消失後，仍短暫停留在視線中的影像。就像有些人、有些地方、有些時光早已遠去，卻仍不時出現在腦海之中；明知道它們已經不存在，卻始終無法真正看著它們消失。

這首歌從回到熟悉的地方開始。眼前的景色沒有改變，天空依舊蔚藍，但曾經一起走過那段時光的人早已不在身邊。那些一起在走廊上打鬧、放學後並肩走過校園、一起歡笑與做夢的日子，在當下看似平凡，卻在失去後才發現是生命中最珍貴的片段。

歌詞圍繞著一個簡單卻遺憾的念頭：我們總以為未來還有很多時間，卻從不知道哪一次會成為最後一次。當回過神來，那些曾經理所當然的瞬間已經離我們越來越遠，而當我們徒勞地伸出手，試圖抓住正在流逝的時間，最後卻只能看著它從指縫間悄悄溜走。

《Afterimage》獻給所有曾經站在熟悉的校園裡，卻突然發現一切都已經改變的人；也獻給那些來不及好好道別的青春。
