革命，是一種對社會、大環境的不滿，反抗掌權者的壓迫所產生的極端表達方式。
革命，是推動社會、文明、科技進步的關鍵。

創作靈感來自於法國作家雨果的著作《悲慘世界》所翻拍的電影裡法國大革命橋段。
歌詞創作完成同年（2019年）6月，香港發生反送中事件，更讓我下定決心要將這首歌完成。

這首歌紀念過去所有革命烈士，感謝他們讓我們現在可以擁有得來不易的民主、自由。
我無法拿著刀槍衝鋒陷陣犧牲自己，只能透過音樂當作武器。希望這首歌能鼓舞現在還在世界上各個角落，為了改善生活，為了擺脫上位者的欺壓，為了爭取基本的權利而奮鬥的人們。
