Nina and John are an eclectic band who draw their inspiration from the many corners of the world that their members come from. The founding members are Nina Huang (vocals-Pingtung, Taiwan, Paiwan tribe) and John Butterworth (guitar-Hawaii/Seattle, USA). They have been making music and playing together since they met in 2017. Nina is an aboriginal girl that grew up in the city and remembers her tribal village roots as she creates soaring melodies that both haunt and soothe the listener. John's guitar lays down rhythmic, danceable grooves and sweet, alluring melodies to complement Nina's vocals.
