Mona Teaser - Last Call

為愛 Last Call is inspired by the last recording of the extinct Kauaʻi ʻōʻō bird, a last call that was never answered.

Two languages meet in this song, English and Chinese (Mandarin), trying to find each other.
The listener is left with a question: Whose call is this? A lonely bird's, Mother Nature's, or the part of ourselves that has lost touch with it?

The lost voices of birds are recreated through modular synthesizers and sound design, reflecting a world where datacenters replace our forests.
