Bloom in the Cracks

The days march on, the same old song, unbroken and ignored
As though the storms we weathered once had never left a scar before
Yet deep beneath the quiet skin a hidden ache still creeps
A muted drum that softly hums whenever daylight sleeps

A practiced grin, unchanged within, pretends there’s nothing wrong
I say “forgive, forget”—and call that strength, and carry on
But mercy whispered to myself is where true healing starts
For owning every fragile piece means holding all my parts

May every gentle soul be gently cradled by the night
We trade our restless youth for claims upon the spark of light
And may your kindest hopes still dare to meet the world’s reply
Let tomorrow’s silver moon salute yesterday’s blazing sky

Apartment lamps like orphaned stars reflect on winter glass
They flicker over untold dreams and wishes walking past
I stroll through neon corridors where lonely echoes burn
Still nursing seeds of summer days, awaiting their return

I count the breaths that lead me on, forgive what can’t be changed
In cracks where sorrow rooted deep, new blossoms rearrange
For even paved‑over regrets may birth a field of green
