花鳥情事：民謠裡的浪漫詩人

民謠，是從生活裡長出來的歌。

它不在課本裡，也不限於舞台上，而是藏在山風呼嘯、牛隻走踏、花開花落的角落裡。

這些詩詞不一定有署名，卻每一句都有人在緩緩唱、細細記。恆春人唱的民謠，是揮汗勞動、女兒遠嫁、情人相思時唱的歌，而歌裡的每一道風景、每一種動物、每一朵花草，都不只是生活景象的描寫，更是情感的依附與記憶的線索。

所謂「浪漫」，並不侷限於愛情，而是對日常的深刻凝視 —— 一種在平凡中的的創作力。本次選擇與民謠關係最深的三大元素：自然現象、動物習性與花草植物，從語言的形狀出發，挖掘日常生活如何承載著流轉的情感，化為人人能懂的詩句。

It is not easy to find in textbooks, nor confined to the stage. But hidden in the whistle of mountain winds, the steady steps of cattle, and within the flower’s bloom and fade.

These verses may bear no author’s name, yet each line is softly sung, carefully remembered.
The folk songs of Hengchun are sung through labor and longing — when sweat drips under the sun, when daughters leave home, when lovers yearn across distance. Every landscape, every animal, every flower in these songs is more than a scene of daily life — it is a vessel of emotion, a trace of memory.

“Romance” is not only about affections, but a deep gaze upon everyday life— a creative power born from the ordinary. This exhibition centers on the three elements most deeply intertwined with Hengchun’s folk songs: natural phenomena, animal behavior, and the flora of the land. Through the forms of language, we explore how everyday life carries shifting emotions and turns them into verses that everyone can understand.
