民謠，是從生活裡長出來的歌。
它不在課本裡，也不限於舞台上，而是藏在山風呼嘯、牛隻走踏、花開花落的角落裡。
這些詩詞不一定有署名，卻每一句都有人在緩緩唱、細細記。恆春人唱的民謠，是揮汗勞動、女兒遠嫁、情人相思時唱的歌，而歌裡的每一道風景、每一種動物、每一朵花草，都不只是生活景象的描寫，更是情感的依附與記憶的線索。
所謂「浪漫」，並不侷限於愛情，而是對日常的深刻凝視 —— 一種在平凡中的的創作力。本次展覽選擇與民謠關係最深的三大元素：自然現象、動物習性與花草植物，從語言的形狀出發，挖掘日常生活如何承載著流轉的情感，化為人人能懂的詩句。
其中三位人間國寶——陳英、張日貴、朱丁順——以山風為筆、田埂為紙，從勞作日常寫到人生悲歡，記下了一代人的生活。這段集體吟唱的歷史，不只是文學的遺產，更是發生在恆春這片土地上，所有細水長流的情事。
