How many times have people lost themselves in a relationship?
How long do we need to hold on?
When should we leave?
Or should we wait until you've lost yourself in the relationship?

This song is about a couple who have married for 2 years and over the course, realised that if they hold onto the marriage, they will only lose their identity for each other.

So, rather than hurting each other by trying to changing or hurting themselves by compromising beyond what they can for the sake of love, they chose the path of leaving the marriage.

Verse 1, tells of how the husband still thinks of the wife from time to time. Especially when he's alone at home. Husband is a homebody with not many friends but loves the wife a lot and hopes the wife to spend time with him.

Verse 2, tells of how the wife felt when the husband keeps trying to salvage the relationship. She's lost.

Chorus:
This is the scene outside the lawyer's office where they gave each other the final hug. The hug of sadness because both have tried to make the relationship work and they both know they will never find such good person anymore. The hug also represents a relief for both but sadness for the past and regret for the future.

They've tried too hard... so hard that it suffocated the love.... and it died.
