A Song to My Heart

獨立唱作歌手劉致君（Jac Lau）即將於今年推出首張創作專輯《Befriend Emotions》，收錄五首英文歌曲，探討情緒的意義。《A Song to My Heart》是當中第一首發佈的歌曲，亦是 Jac 第一首派台的作品。

Jac 在一個感到極為低落的晚上寫了這首歌，當時心中湧現出不同的疑問：「我不知道為甚麼我要存在在這個世界？我是不是造物主錯誤誕生的一個生命？地球上有那麼多的人，到底我的出現有甚麼意義？」歌曲探討生命活著的意義，有時候我們在都市中，麻目地營營役役，追趕着，忙碌着，做着大家都認為是「對」的事，到頭來卻沒有活出自己的人生，漸漸地成為了另一個人。那麼這些事還叫做是「對」的嗎？

歌詞表達出自己與內心聲音斷聯的痛苦，心不停力竭聲嘶地呼喊着，但自己都沒有聽到：

經歷一番「內心」和「外在的自己」的強烈拉扯和掙扎，自己終於願意慢慢地把不同部分的自己鑲嵌起來，全然地接納自己的所有部分，才可以好好的跟自己相處，達致真我的層次。歌曲的bridge是後來加上的，代表着自己經歴一番波折之後，帶着感恩的心，回望人生的經歷和旅程，明白到一切發生都有其原因。

Elliott Wan 和 Ethan Tang 為這首歌編曲和監製，以電子流行音樂風格，加上放克 (funk) 元素，將唱作人的掙扎煉成輕鬆、有趣和富有節奏感的歌曲。
