SutureSelf 訴求卸縛 are the Taiwan-based ignition coil of diverse musicians wound around songwriter Mr. Bamboostick, who as a whole give off eclectic, genre-b(l)ending musical sparks sent to whichever hearts and minds wrap themselves around this pulsating circuit. The combo's sound fuses and fires up rock, blues, funk, reggae, pop, R&B, jazz, bossa nova, and neo soul into a unique sonic energy flow, with lyrics traversing English, German, and Chinese, exploring themes from free love over self-doubt to self-acceptance –– and at times sheer nonsense.
