〈The Light You Left〉(你留給我的光)

Hey!
Let me show you what it's like!
Yeah, July I walked in, they said "we need a girl"
I said "I got the skills," they said "not your world"
But I never touched the decks, never played a single song
How you gonna judge me when you never heard me on?
Brother's house got taken, heart was on the floor
Saw a post on Facebook, asked "y'all need a DJ for sure?"
They said "yeah, but a female," I said "give me one night"
One night, ten tracks, let me show you what it's like
So I drove down south, King Nine in the summer
Turntables waiting, crowd getting louder
I dropped that piano, "Where there's a will, there's a way"
Avicii in the speakers, man, that's why I'm here today
I never got to thank you
For the light inside your sound
When my world was falling silent
Your melody came around
(Instrumental fast snare roll building up)
Waiting For Love
Avicii
Where there's a will, there's a way
Avicii
Waiting for love
Waiting for love…
Waiting for love…
Thank you, Avicii
For the light you left behind
When my world went silent
You were the voice inside my mind
You gave me hope when I had none
You showed me how to stand
Like the sun that keeps on burning
You still shine across this land
So keep on shining, keep on burning
Like a sun that never fades
I'll keep your melody inside me
Every night and every day
Thank you, Avicii
For the life you helped me find
Keep on shining like the sun
You'll always be my light
