Escapee 2009

As a student, we always want to escape from real life especially for the time with large workload in school. Facing the workload, we are sometimes suffering from nervous tension and want to find a wonderland without work.
The music is written in ternary form (ABA form). Part A is describing the condition of nervous tension and mainly the fluctuated emotion. Frequent uses of the interval of 7th and 2nd shows the students’ unsettle. Double stops represent the yelling of us.
To “overcome” this situation, we try to find a Utopia – the world without stress. Entering illusion, the emotional fluctuation stops. We feel much relax while not facing our work. Instead of interval of 7th and 2nd , perfect interval such as perfect 5th and perfect 4th are used in part B. Pursuing a perfect world, we fly high to touch the heaven. But when we almost touch it, we suddenly drop down to the ground.
Again, we are back to the real life, we still need to finish our works. The nervous tension is much serious as we spend time to have our dream. We have less time to work.
