Cait Lin 凱琳全英文創作迷你專輯釋出第二波先行單曲〈Stand Still〉，源自她大學時期與摯友 Cohen Bargas 的共同創作。多年後，她邀來製作人好友 Kay “Kojo” Ansah 一同完成，讓這首歌在時光流轉中凝聚了友情、成長與久別重逢的記憶。

在 Cait Lin 凱琳眼中，〈Stand Still〉是一首承載情感餘溫的歌，光芒深沈而不張揚，彷彿黃昏的微光，或靜靜燃燒的燭火，既溫柔而溫暖。編曲保有親密穩定的質地：節奏如心跳般緩慢，聲線貼耳，如黑暗中低語；層層「Oh」的和聲，營造近乎性感卻不窒息的氛圍。Kay “Kojo” Ansah 的貝斯則為歌曲鋪上溫潤厚實的底色，讓整體更顯沉靜飽滿。

〈Stand Still〉猶如快門按下的一瞬，映出 Cait Lin 凱琳坦率寫下的真實心境。她想將生命中那些美好片刻永遠留存，彷彿讓時間就此靜止。無論是獨自攀登富士山的獨旅、與父母說走就走的旅行，或是與某人共處時那無聲卻深刻的交流……這些時刻，都是她渴望凍結時間的瞬間。

這亦是她首次允許自己寫下如此直接、不加掩飾的詞句。她不再以比喻掩藏心聲，而是用最坦白的語言，記下那難以言喻的內心狀態，以及日常中微小卻深刻的觸動。即使知道一切終將流逝，她仍願意用力感受當下，讓那一刻的光，深深印在心底。
