The Friday Night

Throw the files in the trash tonight
No more deadlines in my sight
Got the rhythm, got the beat in my soul
Now the weekend's taking control!

Oh, can you taste the wine? (Taste the wine!)
Oh, leave the world behind! (World behind!)
The clock is ticking but we don't care
There's magic in the air!

Hey! Living for the Friday night!
Hey! Everything sounds like be alright!
Forget the meetings, forget the wrong
This is where we all belong!
Living for the Friday night!

Kill the calls and the bored reports
I'm trading suits for party shorts
Watch the sunrise in each other's eyes
We don't need no more office lies!

Right now! (Right now!)
It's our time! (Our time!)
Don't let it slip away...
Let's go!

Hey! Living for the Friday night!
Hey! Everything sounds like be alright!
Forget the meetings, forget the wrong
This is where we all belong!
Living for the Friday night!

It's Friday night... (Just you and me!)
No big deal, yeah... (Everything sounds like be alright!)
