Ashen

2007年成立於台北，曲風為碾核、死亡金屬。2007年發行單曲H1N1，團員異動後於2014年開始共同籌劃首張專輯《This world is not ours》錄音室作品，於2015年發行。

2021年，臺灣恐怖片電影《哭悲》選用Ashen歌曲「Crying City」作為電影片尾曲。

2023年,礙舌這份新作確立了Ashen之於台灣重型音樂圈裡一種特立獨行之姿的存在．
身為腦孩與中樞運作的Bruce無視各種新世代金屬或過去三人小隊的基本教義回潮，領著進化四人新編制期間潛心累積配置各種素材，合力加工出機砲式火力批判與科幻／人性警示合成體，十肢一口精準到位無一拖沓．
從開場至covid-19一曲後安排演奏曲作為轉折的巧思，及末曲在本土B級電影哭悲相互作用下產生的ambient synth作為fade out，以grind特色精悍曲式及各種自由包容度呈出一份含有爽度／旋律性／聆聽樂趣，但整體氛圍卻十分沉重的world reference主題專輯．


Founded in Taipei in 2007, diving into the genre of Grindcore and Death Metal. EP "H1N1" was released during 2007 among the heavy music scene of Taiwan. After the member changing, debut album "This world is not ours" released in 2015.
2021, song "Crying City“ had been chosen as the theme of Taiwanese horror movie "The Sadness".
