There’s a kind of love like two trees with crooked necks. They entangle and depend on each other. We are all born to be alone, but we need to learn to get along. While growing up, we’re asked to be independent. But when independence is not full, we enter relationships and become like vines. We seek to climb and entangle each other’s bodies. But how does love like this grow and thrive? Tears of disappointment and sadness fall onto the ground, watering the dust to nurture more vines. The entanglement gets tighter, weaving a chapter of suffocating love.
If this is you, then this love of two trees with crooked necks is love dependency. You will make yourself swing violently between pain and joy in love.
