Newton sat beneath the tree,
Thinking hard, so seriously!
Little Apple watched with care,
“Newton looks so lost up there!”

Apples whispered,
“Oh, oh my!”
“What’s the question? What’s the why?”
Little Apple gave a sway,
Then—WHOOPS!
It fell away!

BUMP!
THUMP!
Newton blinked!
“Wait a second—let me think!”
A falling apple, down, down, down...
“AH-HA! I see! That’s gravity now!”

Apples gasped,
“Oh dear, oh wow!”
“Did you solve it? Tell us now!”
Newton grinned,
“Oh yes, it’s true, That apple helped—so THANK YOU!”

Gravity pulls you, me, and all,
Big or tiny, short or tall!
Little Apple did its part,
And now we know—science is SMART!

BUMP!
THUMP!
Newton grinned!
“Now I KNOW why things descend!”
A falling apple, down, down, down...
“AH-HA! I see! That’s gravity now!”
