We're not going anywhere这句话可以理解为我们因为客观原因哪里也去不了被迫留在原地，例如疫情被困在家；也可以理解我们主观上的把自己封住，走不出来；也可以理解为我们逃离不了karma，有因则承担自己的果。

这是一首关于困境中的选择的歌
在困境中，我们暂时被局限，不能去任何地方，但我们可以选择活着或者死去；可以选择用鲜血写下遗书，也可以书写坚韧的意志。但这首歌想表达的不仅是这两种选择，还有第三种选择，就是什么都不选(indifferent)，站在分界线上摇摆的感觉。有一句很冷的话，就是活着是因为不敢死，就是这种情况吧。

Pre-chorus的滴答滴答声是时间的流逝，也是生命的流逝。无论你选择止步不前，还是勇往直前，时间都照常流逝，只不过止步不前浪费的是你自己的生命罢了。
