Woke up today didn't say sorry to yesterday
It's already gone like waves that fade away
No empty promises to tomorrow no prayers in advance
It hasn't arrived yet no need to take that chance
Just focus on this moment my breath and heartbeat
Clouds pass by the window birds singing in the tree
Today I understand a little more than yesterday
About how to take care of myself in my own way
In the mirror my eyes look a little clearer
Learned to forgive life's edges became a little braver
A little less fear a little more courage here
That's today's victory holding it dear
Today's me brand new me
With hope and a little tenacity
Imperfect is fine still learning to grow
The journey itself is the most beautiful show
