我自己覺得這首歌最迷人的地方，
並不是「死亡」，
而是它對死亡的溫柔。

副歌裡反覆吟唱的「Dark eyes」，
像某位引路者低聲安撫著無法離開人世的亡魂，
而「下玄月」是整首作品最關鍵的意象，
沒有寫象徵圓滿的滿月，
而是一輪正在消逝、卻依然發光的月亮。
它照亮的不是希望，
而是放不下的愛。
就像死神的鐮刀一樣。

從守墓數十年的孤獨、白色花海中的殘影，
到最後「Hold tight to the waning crescent moon」不斷重複的呢喃，
整首歌像一場靈魂慢慢走遠的長鏡頭。
