〈準提神咒〉出自《佛說七俱胝佛母心大准提陀羅尼經》，因其加持威力不可思議，感應疾速強大，故有咒中之王的稱號，誦持者能得準提菩薩庇護，遠離諸惡，能攝一切蟲獸鬼魅，諸事通達，福慧增進。
The Cundi Dharani is a very powerful sutra, and therefore given name of the “King of the Sutras.” The reciter would be blessed by the Cundi Buddha, and safeguarded from all evil.
