〈楞嚴咒心〉出自《大佛頂首楞嚴經》，它是〈楞嚴咒〉的功德匯聚，持誦此咒心，等同修行一切諸佛旳心法，能得諸天鬼神護衛，業障淨除，遠離魔事，不被水、火、毒物、惡咒所害，身心泰然，得大安隱。
The Heart of Surangama Sutra comes from the Surangama Sutra, and its recitation results in the accumulation of good karma. By reciting the Heart of Surangama Sutra, one would gain the same result as if they were to faithfully practice the Buddha’s teachings. Reciting the sutra allows one to gain the guardianship of the deities. It rids one of sin, protects one from the attack of nefarious demons, and thus grants peace of mind.
