Vocalist of famous local punk band Climax, Elphonso Lam, met Blues and K13, the rebellious duo Dirty Boogie, hit it off immediately and formed a new rockabilly band with his bandmate drummer Barry, the band was named BIG ROD. Formed in October 2009, local motorcycle team SRBC captain Felix joinned in April 2010, the band eventually became five.
