關於 US:WE 直到看見鯨魚的眼睛(until seeing whale's eyes)

「when the sun shines on us, we shine.」
台北尖叫默、後硬蕊、革新硬蕊樂團。
成軍十五年，歷經多次團員更迭，2018年發行十年首張專輯作品《黑潮 - Kuroshio》後持續運作，至今尚未解散。

2008年秋末，成立於台北。
2009年自主發行首張單曲作品《失憶者的承諾/A Promise from an Amnesiac》。
2013年發表第二張單曲作品《水與血/water and blood》由22RECORDS發行。
2014年原中文團名〈直到看見鯨魚的眼睛〉改為英文縮寫"US:WE"(until seeing whale’s eyes)。
2018年發表成軍十年首張專輯作品《黑潮 - Kuroshio》由22RECORDS發行。
2021年九月發表三方聯合延伸作品輯《GLDN x PAKK x US:WE -「玖 / jiǔ」: 3-way split》由22RECORDS發行。

就讓光亮吞噬黑暗，掩蓋夜空，籠罩今晚。

吸入飄散的細微粉末，這份悸動的氣味，喚醒了沈睡的真理，稀釋著疼痛的記憶。
弔念著陳舊的傷痛，也僅僅是在礦物的結晶表層凜掠過的痕跡。
而盲目的革命者，依然高舉著被綑綁的雙手。

無法煽動的又怎能被動搖呢？

幻想噴灑著血液，燃起重度與輕度的創傷記憶，而衰退的怨憶也擴散著
但模糊了，卻也持續著...

敲開凍結的時空碎片，試圖挖掘在洪流中逝去的片段，原來是一顆 等待被完全解放的心。

一束剖開時間的光，是一雙清澈的眼。
最終 穿透了遮蔽，覆闢了悲傷，投射出一片全然的視野...

「一片展新的視野。」

祈盼這 等待的 解放著 而寬恕了

綻放在此刻的煙火，隨之永恆。
使著重度與輕度的創傷記憶，不再重複交疊了。
就讓光亮持續吞噬黑暗，掩蓋夜空，籠罩今晚。

燃燒著 靜止的 一束盛開的 永恆不滅的光火。

依偎在圍繞的山巒，是一腕巨人的手。
環繞著隆起又漸逝的浪沫，不斷地 不停的 持續地 溫柔輕撫著...

於是耀起的旭日，收起了夜幕。
永恆的繁星，依然在黑暗中閃耀。

俯瞰
太平世界。

(English translation)
So, the fireworks of victory can finally be lit.
Let their sparks swallow the dark, crowd the night sky
and light up tonight.

Breathe in their powdery burning; the hysterical odor awakens a sleeping truth, that the pain of the past can be lessened.
Remember it; carve its name in the crystalline rock — only a scratch.
The blind revolutionaries still hold their tied hands high.

How to incite those whom you can’t sway?

A blood-spattered fantasy, the past — pains, big and small — everything on fire,
And a faded hate, ever-churning
Hazy, but relentless...

Breaking apart what’s been frozen, digging through shards of what’s been lost, finding a heart seeking liberation.

That beam of light cutting through time is a pair of clear eyes.
At last, the veil is lifted, the sadness overcome, my field of vision so wide now...

A long strip of new horizon.

Hoping, waiting; then freed and forgiven.

The fireworks blooming at this moment will echo forever.
Hateful memories, no longer churning,
Just let the sparks swallow the dark, crowd the night sky, and light up tonight.

Burning, still, a bunch of blooming, eternal flames.

We’re nestled in the surrounding mountains — the hand of a giant.
The tides rise and fall nearby, continuously, over and over, gently lapping...

So, the sun put the night away.
Though eternal stars still shine behind.

Looking up at the stars.
Gazing down at the valley.
A tranquil world.
