自幼接受古典钢琴启蒙，以音乐创作的方式记录自己的心情及日常。
在美国纽约市皇后学院读研期间，她系统地学习爵士乐，开始形成自己的创作风格，爵士乐也成了她最重要的表达工具之一。
在学习以及创作过程中，她形容自己总是努力“保持婴孩般的状态”，以这样渴慕并充满好奇心的状态去接触不同国家多样的文化，汲取不同风格音乐的内涵，然后转化成为自己创作、表达的动力。
