滿州民謠，來自於臺灣最南端的聲音，是由一群阿嬤們傳唱著。他們不在意文字如何撰寫，卻能透過七種不同的經典曲調，將自己生活經歷的酸甜苦辣，注入歌詞表達出來。不僅能抒發情感，也呈現人生中的真實淬煉。或許我們很難對於歌詞的意涵心有戚戚，但是透過歌曲弦律背後的情感表達，我們能慢慢體會。
民謠是活的，不同人唱出不同的味道。民謠成為阿嬤們生命中的一部分，更是他們人生的歌詠。阿嬤們藉著民謠乘載各自的故事，流瀉進屬於自己的桃花源。

Manzhou Ballad originates from the southernmost part of Taiwan and it is passed on for generations by local grandmas. Manzhou grandmas’ just focus on their emotional expression, without caring much about how the lyrics were written. Seven unique tunes not only create romantic melodies but carry the stories of the hardships endured by these grandmas and their relentless effort in life. Although it’s hard to understand each lyrics completely, we can still hold a bit of sentimental value for the story that each song carries.
Ballad is alive and literally engraved into the lives of Manzhou grandmas. Although these songs cannot change their past, they can help them to move on and regain the power to face their difficulties.
