smellyhoover is an one-man-band formed by hover chan, indie-musician based in Guangzhou, China. Nowadays, our city is changing rapidly, no matter in aspects or inner values. During the progression of modernization, some important values lost. Then, hover chan, from Golden Cage, had decided to start his solo project as smellyhoover in 2012, trying to pick the lost spirits up. Mixing of rock, folk, shoegaze and electronica elements, smellyhoover would like to share the emotions of joy and sadness, compliments and critique, and sing the heart out in Cantonese.
