在現今的台灣，許多年輕人都對於民主與人權視為理所當然，漠不關心。往往忽略了自由民主的可貴與其真諦。由於本團主唱阿權的緬甸身份與其所經歷過的文化與生活背景，以及對緬甸至今仍處於軍政獨裁統治之現況的體驗。1988年許多緬甸大學生因為對抗政府而死在槍口之下，我們選擇用我們的音樂，至上對他們的敬意。希望可以喚起許多年輕人的民主意識，不要迷失於資本主義的社會價值。

這首歌是獻給那些為了民主，自由，人權而努力的鬥士們。
