And the oceans re-enact history...
As the water rises past my knees...

I'll be relieved

Because i'll know that
In that moment
We will be swimming in the same sea...

And i'll pray to any god that would sift through this mess
For my heart to keep on pumping and for my legs not to fail me
And i'll propel myself with every single ounce of strength that I have left

And with my last dying breaths, escaping from my chest
I'll be screaming my lungs out arms out stetched to the west
Till my body can take no more, and i'll sink to the ocean floor...

And i'll know that, in that moment...
Not a single a single thing i've done will have been in vain
Because I know that, in that moment...

I was as close as I could possibly ever be to you again...
